That all sounds very 'tasty', and I like the idea of a disco afterwards - makes a longer evening of it....

What are members views on the price and location?

Thanks Claire

Location is great for me!wink  Not quite so sure about the price though...
Do they have a room that we could take over for our presentations etc or will we be drowned out by the disco all evening? :disco: (I've been dying for an excuse to use that smilie - somebody had to do it!)

Hi,

I have double checked with Leroy and the whole night would just be for us, so presentations wouldn't be a problem.  They will be sending out their adverts etc... for Christmas soon, so available nights may decrease when other people/parties book up.

It would be ok for me, and yes it is quite expensive but I could put aside £10 a month between now and then without it being a hardshipgrin

I say we go for it, if no one else put any ideas in the next week, I think we should book it if not as per usual nothing will get done and we will miss out,

Thank you Claire - can I ask that anyone who wishes to attend say so under this thread and I'll try and catch up with the stragglers at Club......

I vote that we do a secret santa again this year - but no more underpants!  I couldn't cope again!

How many are up for Denises idea of ballgowns and black tie?  Just an idea......

Pete & I will be there too and looking forward to secret Santa.  Hadn't heard about the ballgown & black tie idea but not at all sure I could cope with a ballgown - never worn such a thing in my life & I think it's a bit late to start now! :curtsey:

I do like the idea of  a ball gown but I don't own one. I will have to trawl the charity shops!

I will need to start collecting definate numbers for the Xmas dinner - the menu is at the top of this post, and I will bring forms to club for orders as they have been sent to me for completion.  Payment will need to be made in full 3 weeks before the date.

How about we go half way with the black tie theme - ladies in dresses and men in shirt & tie?

Should be a good night!
